IMG_1288_retaining_wall_repair * Retaining Wall Repair Project--May-July 2009Middle and south. Supports under the wall. Under the supports are two vertical 2x2at the back, and 5-6 2x2s at the front. The 2x2s vary in length from about 50-100 cm. The front ones were straight forward to pound in. The back ones were harder--the full-length (8' or 10') 2x2 was pounded in, then cut off by reaching under the wall with a reciprocating saw. * Retaining Wall Repair Project--May-July 2009Middle and south. IMG_1289_retaining_wall_repair * Retaining Wall Repair Project--May-July 2009South end. Support under the wall. Before the post was added to the raised garden section. Those nails in the top board of the garden were impossible to pull out and I ended up cutting them off. * Retaining Wall Repair Project--May-July 2009South end. Support under the wall.
